3 die in road mishap on expressway

ANAND: Three people died and a three-year-old boy was injured in a collision between two cars on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway near Anand on Saturday.

The accident took place when a car’s driver lost control, jumped the road divider and rammed into another car coming form opposite direction.

Husband and wife duo of Mitesh Patel and Alka travelling in one of the cars died while their three-year-old son Shrey was injured. Driver of the car that jumped the divider Abhabhai Rabari also died on the spot, they said. The boy has been admitted to a nearby hospital and his condition is stated to be stable.
