VADODARA: The two-day regional conference for chartered accountant (CA) students will begin from Friday and the theme for this year’s event is Visualise opportunity in challenges’. More than 450 students from Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat will be attending the conference hosted by the Baroda Branch of Western India Regional Council along with city’s branch of Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association (WICASA).
The theme has been chosen considering the present scenario of legal reforms and changes that need to be brought in line with accounting standards. This event is an attempt to help CA students to cope with these changes and to update their knowledge on recent developments in the field.
Vice-president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, G Ramaswami will inaugurate the conference.
